Wedding Services We at 1001 Special Events have been providing for the needs of weddings for many years now, and we know exactly what it takes to deliver exactly what you want on such a special occassion. We don't get on the microphone and announce that it's time to do the funky chicken, we won't emberass you with mic antics, we simply play great music and work hard to make your event go as smoothly as possible. When we work with a wedding, we start first by meeting with our clients to get a feel for just how they want the music to proceed for their event. We work to set a base schedule, and if nescessary can fill in the blanks should something take a bit longer than planned. When a the wedding, we focus on presentability and proffesionalism. We're not here to be the focus, so we don't bring big gaudy banners, and we wouldn't dream of emberassing you. We also won't look like a science experiment with wires going everywhere. We truly focus on doing an excelent job.

Dance Services When we were first asked to provide for a large dance event, we were thrilled. We knew just the person to turn to in order to not just get the job done, but to rock the party. His name is Curtis, and he goes by DJ Disciple. Curtis is perhaps one of the most skilled turntablists in Portland, and not just because he can scratch with the best of them or played clubs downtown, he simply knows how to rock a party! We also have more than Just a good DJ. We've got access to some of the best sound equipment out there due to Jesse's years of experience with proffesional concert systems. Whether you want to provide for 10 to 1000 people, we're not kidding when we say we can deliver uncomporable sound to any other DJ service in Oregon, and we'll put money on it! Whether it's a party, a club, or anywhere else you'd want a club DJ performance, Curtis is the man for the job. Curtis's talent alongside his musical selection will surely have everyone dancing their feet off.
